Business Plan

Our business is going to be called Dudeski Cleaning Services. We are a business which will clean classrooms for a small price. We clean everything from computers, to sweeping, to even the entire room. We are located at 4348 S. Griffin Ave. Room 205, Milwaukee, WI, 53207.

As far as our target market, we are aiming our product at the teachers at A.E. Burdick School. Teachers can't manage to grade papers, run their classes, have a home life, and manage to keep their room spick and span, so we're going to help them.

Our services will sell for different prices, depending on what you need cleaned. The customer just has to tell us what needs to be cleaned, and we will tell them the price, and about how long it will take for their job.

  • Prices
    • Cleaning all desks - $2.00
    • Wiping down computers - $0.25 per computer
    • Sweeping - $1.00
    • Wipe white boards and/or black boards $0.50
    • Organizing books, papers, games - $1.00

We will tackle the advertising end of things with multiple methods. We will have flyers hung up around the school to inform people of our business, and tell them what we are all about. We will also make business cards and hand them out to every teacher. Our last method of advertisement will be to make a commercial to place on the school website. Both students and parents visit this site many times a day, so this will give us great publicity.

Our competition will be the kids who do run cleaning business, but don't charge for it. We have thought about this opportunity as a business many times, and even though these students may clean for free, we can clean better, and we're willing to prove it to the teachers. DCS has resources, time, and dedication, which in reality, allow us to offer better results to the customer than the other kids.

In order to deliver our services, we will need supplies at hand. We will need glass cleaner, Pledge, wet wipes, brooms, dust pans, paper towels, and wash cloths. When someone wishes to order our services, they must call to book an appointment. Once they have called in and verified what needs to be done, Disha, our finance/bookkeeping executive, will come and give the customer a final price. After the customer is given their price, we will set up an appointment to administer our services. Jamie, Miranda, Disha, and Allison will then go to the designated classroom and fill the order. The money will be charged before the order is filled.

Our company is a partnership. We all own DCS together, and share roles in the company. Jamie is the creative designer. Disha is the finance/bookkeeping executive, Miranda is the marketing specialist, and Allison is the graphic designer.

We will start off our business by taking a $25.00 loan from the Bank of Skonecki. If any other materials are needed, we will split the cost among the four of us. We plan to pay our loan back, with interest, within the first month of running our business.
